The first in a series of accident investigation courses to follow the Basic Peace Officer Certification course. Its purpose is to provide the traffic collision investigator a foundation in accident investigation as well as an introduction to a systematic and scientific process of accident reconstruction.  Topics will include: Mathematical equations for analysis; preparing scaled diagrams; on-scene measurements; and identification/recovery of evidence.
